Contemporary Urban Interior in the Heart of Bratislava

Jozef Tucny, a renowned designer, has created a stunning residential interior known as Villa House ZM. Situated in the heart of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, this contemporary urban space offers a unique and inviting atmosphere for a young family.

The design concept of Villa House ZM was inspired by the desire to create a warm and friendly environment. Tucny achieved this by combining naturally based materials such as light oak wood flooring, stones, mirroring glass accessories, and playful colors. The right mixtures of materials and warm lighting were key elements in bringing this project to life.

One of the main challenges of the project was to create separate zones within a larger area while maintaining functionality and aesthetics. Tucny successfully achieved this by carefully designing the layout and incorporating high-quality and functional elements throughout the space.

The design team, led by Jozef Tucny, utilized various techniques and technologies to bring Villa House ZM to fruition. The project went through several phases, including idea concept sketches, material mood boards, 3D visualizations, detailed drawing documentation, unique production, and the realization of the interior.

Villa House ZM spans an area of approximately 180 m2, offering ample space for comfortable living. The design prioritizes natural chic and minimalist elegance, creating a harmonious and relaxing atmosphere for its inhabitants.

This exceptional design has been recognized for its excellence and creativity. Villa House ZM was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity, technical skill, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
